![]() As a therapist, her ultimate hope is to empower others to create the change they would like to see in their life and in their relationships. By witnessing divorces and remarriages in her family, she cultivated a strong passion for self-exploration and building connections in relationships, which is a source of inspiration in her work. Through her own life experiences, Grace has developed a deep sense of empathy towards others. She uses therapeutic techniques such as Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Gottman Couples Therapy (along with a large dose of compassion) to help clients move towards their goals in therapy. She gained her Gottman Couples Therapy Level One and Two Certifications as well as the Gottman Couples and Addiction Certification. After her undergraduate years, she decided to turn her personal passion into a full-time profession and returned to school at Adler University in Chicago to receive her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.ĭuring her schooling, Grace had the opportunity to work primarily with individuals and couples on relationship topics, communication, anxiety, depression, and grief. From there, she went to an even colder place to complete her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
